Job summary

Rotary Engineering Private Limited is seeking a Planning Engineer to develop and maintain EPCC schedules for energy infrastructure projects. You will analyze deviations, prepare progress curves and reports, and contribute to risk and cost reporting for variations. Strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• 3+ years EPC Project Planning experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Energy Infrastructure
• Experience with Primavera P6

Responsibilities

• Prepare a project schedule that integrates constraints and strategies for engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
• Prepare logic diagram, in accordance with the Work Breakdown Structure, which form the basis for detailed level schedule reporting and analysis
• Prepare and maintain baseline schedule using Primavera P6
• Monitor actual progress against baseline schedules, analyse deviations and recommend remedial action
• Prepare and maintain project progress curve
• Prepare Daily, Weekly and Monthly Report
• Prepare and monitor resource mobilization plan
• Prepare Risk Register Reports
• Prepare cost and planning proposal for project variations
• Prepare and maintain Cost Report and Change Order Register

About the role

The planning engineer prepares and maintains schedules, develops and reviews project baselines, and monitors and tracks progress. This role involves developing detailed execution schedules and plans for Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) projects in the Energy infrastructure industry.

Key responsibilities

• Strong analytical skills and attention to details
• Able to apply Critical Path Method planning techniques to develop detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning project schedule
