Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is hiring a Materials Planner to manage material requirements, coordinate purchases, and support the master production schedule. The role collaborates with Production, RD, Purchasing, and Warehouse to ensure timely material availability and accurate inventory data.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years in materials or production planning, familiar with SAP and WMS, and willing to overtime when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent with exposure to planning or production control.
• Experience with materials planning, inventory, or procurement processes.
• Knowledge of SAP and warehouse management systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan material requirements and raise purchase orders to support MRP.
• Coordinate delivery schedules of purchased parts to the plant.
• Support month-end closing to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate material flow with other departments; assist with new lot qualification.
• Monitor forecast fluctuations and analyze impact on the master schedule.
• Work with Production and R&D on usage rates to ensure material sufficiency.
• Collaborate with Warehouse for monthly cycle counts and FG shipment docs.
• Coordinate with Forwarder on shipment allocation and update systems.

Job description

• Plan materials requirement & process purchase order to support master production schedule.
• Coordinate delivery schedule of purchased parts to the manufacturing facility to support master production schedule.
• Support month end closing functions to ensure materials inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate material flow with other department & work on new materials lot qualification. Manage forecast demand fluctuations and analyze its impact to master production schedule Co-ordinate closely with Purchasing Team to ensure on time delivery of raw materials.
• Work closely with Production Team & RD Team on materials usage rate to ensure sufficient materials to support their manufacturing needs.
• Work closely with warehouse member to do monthly cycle count. Help with FG shipment documentation preparation.
• Co-ordinate with Forwarder on shipment allocation and etc. Update Shipment status into Customer system.

Requirements

• At least Diploma or 1~2 years of work experience materials or production planning related field.
• Warehouse Management System knowledge
• SAP knowledge
• Prepared to work overtime & during weekends due to work exigencies.
