Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of piping systems, fittings and codes/regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and manage multiple projects.
• Familiar with safety regulations and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation and repair of piping systems (gas, steam, water, fire protection).
• Plan, coordinate, and schedule piping projects.
• Interpret blueprints and technical documents for materials.
• Supervise underground conduits and piping installations.
• Troubleshoot installation and repair issues.
• Ensure proper use of pipes, fittings, and equipment.
• Maintain project timelines and quality standards.
• Guide pipe fitters and workers.
• Make quick, independent decisions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies.
• Conduct risk assessments for piping projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Organize safety training and toolbox talks.
• Investigate incidents and prepare corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records and documentation.
• Coordinate emergency plans and drills.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies during inspections.
