Job summary

MAT HYDRO INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. on-site piping installation supervisor role requires overseeing daily on-site activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. You will interpret drawings, guide installation, and coordinate with the team to meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical Engineering degree, at least 2 years in PCM supervisory roles, and a valid Worksite Supervisor certification. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Worksite Supervisor certification (WSHMCI/BCSS and SWCSO)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in PCM sector in a similar supervisory role
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily on-site piping installation activities to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines
• Drive effective and productive execution of assigned tasks to meet customer requirements and delivery targets
• Monitor and enforce quality standards to achieve project deadlines with zero safety incidents
• Maintain site housekeeping and enforce Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and workflow protocols
• Conduct daily Toolbox Meetings before work commencement to communicate safety and operational plans
• Ensure the safety of all team members by implementing and monitoring safety measures on site
• Identify and implement continuous improvements in productivity and work processes to enhance project outcomes
• Interpret piping diagrams and drawings accurately to guide installation and troubleshooting activities
• Apply knowledge of machinery equipment functionalities to support installation and maintenance tasks
• Utilize understanding of piping material requirements for both repair and new construction projects
• Use Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to document progress, prepare reports, and communicate effectively
• Communicate clearly and collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels to foster teamwork and project success
