Job summary

DELUGE FIRE PROTECTION (S.E.A.) PTE LTD is seeking a drafting professional to convert contract drawings into precise shop drawings and technical schemes. You will support main contractors, prepare penetration layouts, and compute pipe hydraulics for assigned projects.

The role requires familiarity with fire codes and technical directives, and regular site attendance to ensure accurate field coordination and communication with managers and peers.

Qualifications

• Prepare shop drawings from contractual drawings issued by main contractors.
• Prepare preliminary schemes and penetration drawings as needed.
• Produce pipe schedule hydraulics for assigned projects.
• Understand equipment used in connection with each project.
• Prepare deviations reports to Design Manager from original Tender drawings.
• Be aware of fire codes and technical directives.
• Provide site attendance as required by superiors.
• Maintain clear communication and coordination with counterparts and superiors.

Responsibilities

• Create shop drawings from contract drawings and project specifications.
• Develop preliminary schemes and penetration drawings as requested by the project team.
• Generate pipe schedule hydraulics for assigned projects and verify calculations.
• Ensure compliance with fire codes and directives and document deviations as required.
