R SQUARE ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Pipe Fitter/Mechanical Fitter to read blueprints, measure and fit piping systems for high/low-pressure lines. The role requires 2–3 years of hands‑on experience and relevant safety certifications. OT and weekend shifts may be needed.

You will interpret isometric drawings, fabricate pipe assemblies, and assist in pressure testing while adhering to WSH guidelines. The company offers growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• 2–3 years of hands-on pipe fitting experience in Marine, Oil & Gas, Process Plant, or Construction/ACMV industries.
• BCA CoreTrade or Multi‑Skilling certification is an added advantage for construction quota eligibility.
• Valid AWSHCS or Shipyard Safety Instruction Course (SSIC).
• Work‑at‑Height (WAH) and Confined Space certifications are preferred.
• Ability to interpret isometric drawings and execute pipe routing independently.
• Physically fit and able to work at height, outdoors, or in plant environments.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekend shifts when required.

Responsabilidades

• Read, interpret, and work from engineering blueprints, schematic diagrams, and piping isometric drawings.
• Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, and bevel pipes using hand and power tools.
• Fabricate, assemble, align, and fit pipes, valves, flanges, supports, and hangers for various systems.
• Perform tack welding or bolt tightening to secure piping components before final welding.
• Assist in pressure testing, hydrostatic testing, flushing, and leak checks for pipeline integrity.
• Adhere to workplace safety regulations (WSH), including PPE usage and toolbox meetings.

Job Title: Pipe Fitter / Mechanical Fitter

Location: Singapore

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: SGD $2,200 – $4,200 / month (Commensurate with experience; excluding overtime)

Key Responsibilities:

• Read, interpret, and work from engineering blueprints, schematic diagrams, and piping isometric drawings.

• Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, and bevel pipes according to specifications using relevant hand and power tools.

• Fabricate, assemble, align, and fit pipes, valves, flanges, supports, and hangers for high/low-pressure systems (chilled water, steam, process, or plumbing lines).

• Perform tack welding or bolt tightening to secure piping components prior to final welding.

• Assist in pressure testing, hydrostatic testing, flushing, and leak checks to ensure pipeline integrity.

• Adhere strictly to workplace safety regulations (WSH guidelines), including proper use of PPE and participation in daily toolbox meetings.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2–3 years of hands‑on pipe fitting experience in Marine, Oil & Gas, Process Plant, or Construction/ACMV industries.

• Possess relevant certifications:

  • BCA CoreTrade / Multi‑Skilling certification (an added advantage for construction quota eligibility).

  • Valid Apply Workplace Safety and Health in Construction Sites (AWSHCS) or Shipyard Safety Instruction Course (SSIC).

  • Work‑at‑Height (WAH) and Confined Space certifications are preferred.

• Ability to interpret isometric drawings and execute pipe routing independently.

• Physically fit and comfortable working at height, outdoors, or in plant environments.

• Willingness to work overtime and weekend shifts when required.
