Job summary

Staffhub Group in Singapore is seeking a Civil/Construction Project Manager to lead a team and deliver piling projects on schedule and within budget.

You will organize, direct and coordinate project activities, establish WBS and budgets, monitor progress, and report to the Project Director. At least 5 years in civil/construction is required; this is a full-time, on-site role with responsibilities spanning safety, quality, and subcontractor management.

Qualifications

• Lead a project team to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Establish the work breakdown structure (WBS) and budget for cost control.
• Ensure quality and safety on piling works.
• Prepare monthly progress reports with Construction Department.
• At least 5 years’ experience in civil/construction.
• Full-Time position available.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Plan, schedule, monitor, and update project progress to meet targets.
• Establish WBS and budget for cost control.
• Administer subcontractors within financial authority.
• Report project status to the Project Director.
• Maintain manpower management and safety/environmental policies.
• Liaise with Construction Department to produce monthly reports.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by top management.

Job Requirements -

• Lead a team to deliver project on schedule and within budget
• Organize, direct, co-ordinate, motivate project team members.
• Able to do overall project planning, scheduling, monitoring and updating to meet targets
• Establish the work break down structure and budget in accordance with estimates for cost control.
• To be continually alert to means and methods by which operations of the project team can be improved where appropriate.
• Establish (within the financial authority limits) and administer all site subcontractors to ensure the execution and quality of their obligation.
• Report to Project Director the status of Project especially regarding cost and progress
• Maintain manpower management, safety policies and procedures and environmental related issue of piling works.
• Ensure compliance with the stated quality requirement of the piling project.
• Keeps record or information regarding variation order and extension of time.
• Liaise with Construction Department to produce the monthly progress report of Piling project.
• Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the top management and PD.

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Managers specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
