Job summary

ABER CARE PTE. LTD. seeks a qualified physiotherapist to join our ward-based team in Singapore. You will assess patients, design individual treatment plans and provide rehabilitation including exercises, gait and balance training, and manual therapy.

Requirements: Degree in Physiotherapy, full registration with APHC, and at least 3 years of ward experience. Collaboration with doctors, nurses and allied health staff is essential to ensure safe care and smooth discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy.
• Full registration with APHC.
• At Least 3 years of working experience in patient ward settings

Responsibilities

• Conduct physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans.
• Provide rehabilitation including therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, mobility and functional training, manual therapy and appropriate treatment modalities.
• Assess and prescribe walking aids and assistive devices where required.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment programmes accordingly.
• Educate patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals on rehabilitation and safe mobility.
• Work closely with doctors, nurses and other allied health professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team, including discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Participate in team meetings, training, professional development and student supervision.
• Uphold professional, ethical, confidentiality, infection control and workplace safety standards.
• Support departmental projects, equipment management and other responsibilities as assigned.
