Job summary

COMPOUNDTEK PTE. LTD. seeks a testing lead to manage a team and drive Silicon Photonics wafer-level testing.

You will work closely with other departments and clients to define test flows, set up programs, and ensure reliable results. The role requires hands-on testing, calibration, and collaboration with vendors for instrument maintenance. Candidates should have a degree or master in microelectronics or related field, 5+ years in semiconductor/RF bench testing, and strong Python/C++ skills, plus

Qualifications

• Degree or Master in Microelectronics/Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Candidate with >5 years’ experience in Semiconductor testing or RF bench testing or ATE wafer test will be considered for senior position, preferably with Silicon Photonics testing experience.
• Proficient in Python and C++ is an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a testing team and collaborate with other departments and management.
• Set up testers for Silicon Photonics wafer level testing, including prober recipe generation for new devices, instrument calibration, and optical fiber interface maintenance.
• Discuss test requirements with customers and design test flow and setup test programs to meet their needs.
• Verify and analyze test results.
• Perform wafer surface inspection before and after testing.
• Maintain cleanroom housekeeping and overall facility upkeep.
• Liaise with vendors for instrument maintenance.
• Work with the team to develop new Silicon Photonics test capabilities.

Role and Responsibilities

• To manage a testing team and able to work closely with other dept and mgmt
• Setup tester for Silicon Photonics wafer level testing, including prober recipe generation for new devices, instrument loss / RF calibration, Electrical probes and optical fiber interface swapping and cleaning
• Discuss with customers for test requirements and design test flow and setup test program to meet customer requirement.
• Test result verification and analysis.
• Perform wafer surface inspection before and after test
• Cleanroom housekeeping and maintenance
• Liaise with vendors for instrument maintenance
• Work with team members for development of new Silicon Photonics Test Capabilities
