Job summary

HRNET VENTURES PTE. LTD. invites a skilled Test Engineer to join our R&D team in West Singapore.

You will perform performance testing and reliability verification on R&D prototypes, develop test plans, and create environments for optical, electrical, motion accuracy and environmental tests. You will analyse test data, prepare technical reports, and collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot issues and drive product optimisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Optoelectronic/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of testing and verification experience for optical components or semiconductor equipment.
• Familiarity with optical communication testing instruments and statistical data analysis.
• Ability to independently develop test plans and test cases.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and technical documentation skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English for technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance testing and reliability verification of R&D prototypes.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, build test environments and conduct optical, electrical, motion accuracy and environmental testing.
• Conduct index verification and calibration of die test equipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Analyse test data, prepare technical reports and identify performance bottlenecks or design defects.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to troubleshoot issues and drive product optimisation.
• Develop automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Establish product testing specifications, standards and procedures.
• Support the Malaysia team in developing mass production testing procedures, specifications and SOPs.
