Job summary

SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) in Singapore is seeking an engineer to support photo-related activities, sustain line operations, and own process/tools for cost, uptime and yield improvements.

You will develop and review operating instructions, SOPs and BKMS, and lead cross-functional projects using DOE/SPC to optimize processes and equipment across global wafer fabs.

Qualifications

• PhD/Master/Degree in Chemical, Materials, Chemistry, Physics and Electrical, Electronics Engineering and other relevant fields.
• 1–3 years experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment. Fresh graduates with keen interest to develop a career in semiconductor manufacturing environment are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook applications
• Statistical analysis experience using Mini Tab or JMP

Responsibilities

• Support Photo related activities to achieve operation targets and meet company objectives.
• Sustaining line operations, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Production and metrology process/tool ownership and accountability for cost, uptime, wafer scrap, process sustaining issues.
• Create and review Operating Instructions (OI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Best Known Methods (BKMS).
• Lead cross-functional projects in yield, quality, cost, productivity and throughput using DOE and SPC techniques.
• Assist in process/product transfers or ramp to/from global wafer fabs from development to manufacturing.
• Participate in new process/product startup, optimization and improvement.
• Support Lean Six Sigma (LSS), BKM development and automation solutions for quality and cost improvements.
• Develop FMEA for Custom & Derivative processes.

What you will be working on

• To support Photo related activities to achieve operation targets and meet company objectives
• Sustaining line operations, troubleshooting (Participate/implementing corrective and preventive measures) and root cause analysis
• Production and metrology process/tool ownership and accountability for Cost, Uptime, Wafers scrap, process sustaining issues
• Participate in creation and continuous review of Operating Instructions (OI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Best Known Methods (BKMS) to optimize Process and Equipment procedures
• Design, construct ,execute and Participate in cross functional and continuous improvement projects in fields of: Yield, quality, cost, productivity, efficiency, throughput, tool startups , uptime , defects reduction, production line issues and tools defense, work improvement utilizing a wide variety of analytical techniques (run charts, Histograms, Pareto charts, Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical process control charts (SPC)
• Participate/contribute in Process and Product transfers or production ramp to and from different global networked wafer fabs from Development to engineering and manufacturing
• New process/product startup, optimization, development and improvement
• Participate in Transform Platform and develop Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Best Known Methods (BKM) , patents and Trade Secrets and drive value creation
• Support implementation of TSMC/NXP BKMs and develop SSMC BKMs, contribute to automation solutions for quality and cost improvements, and lead cross-functional troubleshooting to resolve product yield and technical issues.
• Develop FMEA for Custom & Derivative processes.
