Job summary

SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) is seeking a Photo Equipment Engineer to join the Photo Equipment Eng. II team in Singapore.

You will sustain and improve equipment performance, provide first-line technical support across rotating shifts, and contribute to continuous improvement through preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 1–3 years in semiconductor manufacturing, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic instrument

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft business applications.
• Able to take pressure under time-constrained situations.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and improve equipment performance indices and provide first-line technical support.
• Perform preventive maintenance and Level 1 & 2 troubleshooting.
• Setup systems to ensure uninterrupted supply of dummy wafers, chemicals, and coater cups.
• Control spare parts inventory to minimize cost without downtime due to parts unavailability.
• Document preventive maintenance procedures and review data for continuous improvement.
• Forecast preventive maintenance schedule and spares/consumables usage.
• Ensure calibration of measuring instruments is done timely and within specs.
• Familiar with ISO standards requirements and ensure the section meets them.
• Involve in machine repair and RM reduction activities.
• Maintain 6S housekeeping and safety practices in the Fab.
• Establish communication with Mother FAB for knowledge transfer and benchmarking.
• Participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) program.
• Participate in Transform programs to optimize equipment utilization and PM cost.
• Execute new equipment start-up from facilities hook-up to acceptance of equipment.
• Daily Rework, RTM, FDC, SPC, alarm 3, and EMAP review and follow up.
