Qualifications

• Open to travelling around west side polyclinics when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Process medication orders/prescriptions for both inpatient and outpatient.
• Pick, pack and label medications according to policies and procedures.
• Perform billing functions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pharmacy and storage areas.
• Stock checks according to First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) requirements.
• Dispense medications to patients following stipulated guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

• Process medication orders/prescriptions for both inpatient and outpatient
• Picking, packing and labelling in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures
• Perform billing functions
• Maintain the cleanliness of the pharmacy and ward areas where drugs are stored
• Ensure stocks are stocked up properly and tidily according to First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) requirement and stipulated storage condition
• Perform topping up of omnicell ward stock in the respective wards
• Ensure correct receiving of goods
• Secondary repackaging/redressing
• Carry out cycle counts and stock takes periodically according to SOPs
• Dispensing of medications to patients in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures

Requirements

• Possess Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science OR Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC)
• Open to travelling around west side polyclinics when necessary
