Job description:

The Pharmacy Technician assists in drug stock management, maintenance of premises and equipment, prescription processing, as well as drug dispensing and distribution. He/She is responsible for assisting the pharmacy manager and/or pharmacist in the provision of pharmaceutical care. He/she interacts with patients and their family, and other health care providers as appropriate to assure continuity of services and to achieve desired patient outcomes through safe, accurate and timely distribution of pharmaceutical drug supplies. The pharmacy technician coordinates and performs as necessary the activities of a pharmacy service area. He/she dispenses drugs under the general supervision of pharmacists.
