Qualifications

• Must have CPTC certification or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science.
• Complete Basic Skill Test or CPTC to demonstrate competency.

Responsibilities

• Process medication orders/prescriptions for inpatients and outpatients.
• Pick, pack and label medications per SOP.
• Ensure stock is properly stocked and tidily arranged per FEFO and storage guidelines.
• Top up Omnicell ward stock in the respective wards.
• Dispense medications to patients per policies and SOP.

Job description

• Process medication orders/prescriptions for both inpatient and outpatient
• Picking, packing and labelling in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures
• Ensures stocks are stocked up properly and tidily according to First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) requirement and stipulated storage condition
• Performs topping up of omnicell ward stock in the respective wards
• Dispensing of medications to patients in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures

What We Are Looking For

• Possess Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC) OR Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science
• Completed Basic Skill Test OR Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC)
