Job summary

National University Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Retail Associate to provide quality customer service and assist the retail supervisor in ensuring smooth operations in the retail pharmacy. You will handle daily sales, data entry in SAP, stock maintenance, and staff support.

Responsibilities span operations, administration, and staff training, including opening procedures, cash handling, reporting, and contributing to workplace improvements. 5.5 days work week at the NUH Polyclinic campus.

Qualifications

• GCE N or O level qualification.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience required.
• Excellent service orientation and good interpersonal skills.
• Good team player and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Open store punctually and ensure computer systems are ready.
• Monitor the queue and reduce patient waiting time.
• Maintain float readiness and perform cash handling.
• Promote weekly specials and upsell.
• Operate cash register and manage cash.
• Maintain housekeeping in store, storage, and shop floor.
• Ensure store security and protect stock and information.
• Maintain equipment records and upkeep.
• Monitor stock levels and replenish stock in the pharmacy.
• Ensure stock conditions are saleable and in good condition.
• Perform goods receipts and manage inter-branch transfers and error reports.
• Assist in cycle counts and stock takes.
• Maintain daily sales records.
• Enter data into inventory SAP.
• Assist in filing documents and generating monthly reports.
• Coach and orientate new staff on workflows; brief promoters.
• Perform other duties as assigned and participate in improvement projects.

The Pharmacy Retail Associate will provide quality customer service and assist the retail supervisor in ensuring smooth operations in the retail pharmacy.

Job Responsibilities

1. Operational

• Ensure that the store is opened punctually and computer systems are user-ready
• Monitor the queue and actively respond to reduce the waiting time of patients
• Ensure that the float is ready and prepared on time
• Actively promote weekly specials and practice plus-selling
• Operating cash register and handling of cash in the pharmacy
• Ensure good housekeeping at retail trading, storage areas and at retail shop floor
• Maintain store security (e.g. stocks, premise and stored information) at all times
• Maintain proper records and maintenance of the equipment used in the pharmacy
• Monitor stock levels and replenish stocks in the pharmacy
• Maintain condition of stock to ensure all stocks are under appropriate conditions and in good saleable condition
• Perform goods receipts and handle inter-branch transfers and error reports
• Assist in cycle counts and stock takes

2. Administration

• Maintain proper daily sales records
• Perform data entries into inventory system – SAP
• Assist in compiling information and filing of retail documents in a neat and organized manner.
• Assist to generate monthly reports for analysis/checks

3. Staff Training and Development

• Assist to coach and orientate new staff on retail workflows and pharmacy activities
• Assist to conduct briefing for promoters

4. General

• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer
• Involve in work place improvement projects/ activities as and when required

• 2 - 3 years of relevant experience required
• Excellent service oriented and has good interpersonal skills
• Good team player and self-motivated.

Working Hours

5.5 days' work week (non-shift)
