Job summary

PERSOL's established client in the public healthcare sector seeks a Senior Pharmacist to join their team in the West Region. You will oversee dispensing, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide pharmacy technicians while maintaining high standards of patient care.

The role offers yearly AWS and a performance bonus of up to four months, along with opportunities to mentor staff and improve processes in a dynamic hospital pharmacy setting in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Fully registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant pharmacy experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate dispensing of medications while ensuring compliance with local regulations and protocols.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians in preparing, labelling, and delivering medications based on physicians' prescriptions.
• Address prescription ambiguities, and assess and resolve drug-related issues while advising healthcare professionals appropriately.
• Educate patients on drug interactions, side effects, and proper medication usage for improved self-care compliance.
• Facilitate smooth daily pharmacy operations while maintaining profitability and customer service excellence.
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and conducting regular audits to minimize waste and ensure quality.
• Orient and train new team members and pharmacy students to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Assist in administrative tasks, including financial audits and report preparation, to support pharmacy operations.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain accurate compliance documentation.
• Coach and supervise team members while participating in workplace improvement initiatives.
