Job summary

PERSOL Singapore is seeking a Senior Pharmacist for a public healthcare institution in the West Region of Singapore. The role includes leading pharmacists and technicians, ensuring accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance, and coaching staff.

Office hours: 5.25 days with alternate Saturdays half-day, with a yearly AWS and performance bonus (up to 4 months). The successful candidate will have a Pharmacy degree, Singapore Pharmacy Council registration, and at least 2 years of relevant

Qualifications

• Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Fully registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant pharmacy experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate dispensing of medications in compliance with regulations.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians in preparing, labelling, and delivering medications.
• Address prescription ambiguities and resolve drug-related issues.
• Educate patients on drug interactions, side effects, and proper usage.
• Facilitate smooth daily pharmacy operations and maintain customer service.
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering and audits.
• Orient and train new team members and pharmacy students.
• Assist in administrative tasks and financial audits.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain compliance records.
• Coach and supervise team members and participate in improvements.

• Facilitate smooth daily pharmacy operations while maintaining profitability and customer service excellence.
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and conducting regular audits to minimize waste and ensure quality.
• Orient and train new team members and pharmacy students to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Assist in administrative tasks, including financial audits and report preparation, to support pharmacy operations.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain accurate compliance documentation.
• Coach and supervise team members while participating in workplace improvement initiatives.
