Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a Quality Control professional in Singapore to perform incoming material sampling and QC checks within a GMP manufacturing environment. You will review documents, prepare samples, and conduct odour and in-process QC activities to ensure product quality and release readiness.

The role requires a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or Chemical Science, knowledge of cGMP/ISO standards, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemical Science, or related discipline.
• Working knowledge of cGMP and ISO requirements.
• Meticulous, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a GMP manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with employees at all levels.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming sampling and quality control checks for raw and packaging materials.
• Review incoming documents to ensure compliance with material release specifications.
• Prepare samples and perform odour testing.
• Perform in-process quality control checks on work-in-progress and finished products.
• Collect samples for laboratory analysis, retention, and stability testing.
• Record, review, and maintain batch process records.
• Print and manage quality control labels.
• Follow up on quality issues, deviations, investigations, and CAPA for all QC operations.
• Conduct environmental monitoring activities, including air sampling.
• Verify and maintain measurement equipment such as weighing scales and data loggers.
• Coordinate external calibration of measurement equipment.
• Maintain QC data, records, and documentation to ensure traceability and audit readiness.
• Support machine testing, trial runs, equipment qualification, and validation activities.
• Assist in audits, complaint investigations, and other quality assurance activities.
