Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a MES MBR Designer (Siemens Opcenter) to support pharma manufacturing in Singapore. You will drive the transition from paper to electronic batch records across formulation, filling, and packaging, and design validated Process Instructions in Opcenter Execution Pharma with testing, go-live and change control.

The role requires 4+ years in pharmaceutical MES with hands-on MBR design, strong ISA-88 knowledge, and experience with Opcenter or comparable MES solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, computer science, automation, or related field.
• 4+ years in pharmaceutical MES with 3+ years in MBR/eBR design.
• Hands-on with Opcenter Execution Pharma or equivalent MES solutions.
• Strong knowledge of ISA-88 and GMP/GxP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design workshops translating paper MBRs into ISA-88 procedures.
• Design and unit test Process Instructions, Work Instructions, and Event PIs.
• Configure exchanges between SIMATIC BATCH and operator processes.
• Configure weighing, dispensing, material management, and logbooks.
• Build reusable PI templates for consistency across lines.
• Maintain specs, design docs, configs, and traceability matrices.
• Write and execute test scripts incl. OQ/PQ, document defects.
• Support go-live on site including hypercare and CAPA follow-up.
