Job summary

JDA WMS PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Construction Manager to oversee site execution of pharmaceutical and industrial construction projects in Singapore. You will manage construction planning, site operations, subcontractors, safety, quality, and progress to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, with strong leadership and coordination skills to liaise with engineers, inspectors, and authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant construction-management experience in industrial building or pharmaceutical projects.
• Experience managing site operations, subcontractors, schedules, safety, quality, and authority coordination.
• Familiar with Singapore construction regulations, authority approvals, inspections, TOP processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage construction teams and project activities independently.
• Proficient in construction planning, reporting and project-management tools.
• Willing to work additional hours or weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall construction, installation and day-to-day operations at the project site.
• Develop detailed site execution plans, schedules, milestones and resources.
• Monitor progress and implement recovery measures for delays.
• Establish and enforce site safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Organise site coordination meetings and prepare progress, quality and safety reports.
• Coordinate authority submissions, permits, inspections, and TOP processes.
• Coordinate with engineers, inspectors and authorities.
• Manage subcontractors’ planning, performance, quality and scheduling.
• Liaise with clients and contractors to resolve construction issues.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and pharmaceutical quality requirements.
