Job summary

Trafigura Group in Singapore currently seeks an Oil Operator on a contract basis to support commercial petrochemicals operations and trader activities in Asia Pacific. The role coordinates post-deal execution, logistics, and market information flow to traders while maintaining tight deadlines and accuracy.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years in olefins and aromatics operations.
• Experience in deep-sea vessel operations and STS/lightering.
• Familiar with ethylene, propylene and C4 products.
• Strong planning, forecasting and workflow coordination.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Plan and forecast supply and stock management of petrochemicals products in Asia Pacific.
• Liaise with Inspector, agent, ship brokers, trade counterparties, storage terminals and internal department to ensure smooth physical operations.
• Minimize cost and pursue optimization of operations.
• Establish good working relationships with counterparties.
