Job summary

GEA Group is seeking a People Partner for BU Execution NPE to translate divisional people strategy into actionable plans that drive growth, performance, transformation, and operational excellence. You will work at the intersection of business and people strategy, partnering with leaders to shape organizational design, capability, and culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including strategic HR Partner roles.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders in complex, matrixed, international organizations.
  • Strong experience in workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, leadership development, and succession planning.
  • Proven ability to lead organizational change and culture initiatives.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving difficult people-related decisions.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and employee relations principles.
  • Experience in shared services and Centers of Excellence operating models.
  • Experience with Workday or similar HCM platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary People Partner to BU Execution NPE leadership and advise on people, leadership, and organizational matters.
  • Translate divisional priorities into a business-unit people strategy and roadmap.
  • Partner to optimize organizational structures, operating models, and workforce effectiveness.
  • Provide strategic guidance on workforce risks and business performance challenges.
  • Drive data-informed decisions via workforce analytics and diagnostics.

As the People Partner for BU Execution NPE, you will serve as the trusted advisor to Business Unit leadership, translating divisional people strategy into actionable business plans that enable growth, performance, transformation, and operational excellence.

You will work at the intersection of business and people strategy, partnering closely with leaders to shape organizational design, workforce capabilities, talent pipelines, and culture. This role requires a commercially minded HR leader who can influence senior stakeholders, navigate complexity, and drive measurable business outcomes through people.

Responsibilities / Tasks
Strategic Business Partnership & Advisory
  • Serve as the primary People Partner to the NPE Business Unit leadership team and act as a trusted advisor on all people, leadership, and organizational matters.
  • Translate divisional People priorities into a business-unit-specific people strategy and roadmap aligned to growth, productivity, and transformation objectives.
  • Partner with leaders to optimize organizational structures, roles, operating models, reporting lines, and workforce effectiveness.
  • Provide strategic guidance on organizational trade-offs, capability investments, workforce risks, and business performance challenges.
  • Drive data-informed decision making through workforce analytics, talent insights, and organizational diagnostics.
  • Lead strategic workforce and capability planning for the business unit, ensuring alignment with short- and long-term business priorities.
  • Identify current and future capability requirements and develop plans to address talent and skills gaps.
  • Own workforce demand planning and hiring strategy across the business unit.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring leaders to ensure effective recruitment outcomes for critical and business-impacting roles.
  • Drive proactive talent pipelining and succession strategies to strengthen organizational resilience and future readiness.
Talent, Leadership & Performance Excellence
  • Lead and facilitate talent review, performance management, succession planning, and leadership development processes within the business unit.
  • Identify critical roles, high-potential talent, and succession risks, ensuring sustainable leadership pipelines.
  • Coach leaders on performance management, talent decisions, leadership effectiveness, and team development.
  • Connect business needs with enterprise learning and development solutions, including leadership programs, capability academies, and targeted development initiatives.
  • Foster a high-performance culture characterized by accountability, engagement, continuous development, and inclusion.
Organizational Change & Transformation
  • Partner with leaders to design and implement organization-wide and business-unit transformation initiatives.
  • Support change management efforts related to operating model evolution, digital transformation, restructuring, workforce transitions, and culture initiatives.
  • Build organizational readiness and leadership capability to successfully navigate change.
  • Ensure business-unit initiatives align with enterprise people priorities and broader transformation programs.
Governance & People Ecosystem Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with People Solutions, Talent Acquisition, People Services, and local People Partners to deliver seamless people support and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, employment regulations, and employee representation requirements.
  • Balance local business needs with enterprise standards, policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and insights regarding workforce trends, organizational risks, talent challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Act as a steward of the employee experience while maintaining strong business alignment.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience as a strategic HR Business Partner or People Partner supporting senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with business leaders in complex, matrixed, and international organizations.
  • Strong experience in workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, leadership development, and succession planning.
  • Proven ability to lead organizational change, transformation, and culture initiatives.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving difficult people-related decisions with credibility and confidence.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and employee relations principles.
  • Experience working within a shared services and Centers of Excellence operating model.
  • Experience with Workday or similar HCM platforms.
