Job summary

ABeam Consulting in Singapore seeks an experienced Payments Transformation Delivery leader to drive domestic payments modernization programs and related transformation initiatives for clients across multiple industries.

You will lead workstreams, analyze payment processes, advise on ISO 20022 and Finastra GPP, mentor consultants, support proposals, and help shape practice growth while maintaining senior stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 10 years consulting experience, ideally in a leading firm.
Banking/financial services expertise with focus on Payments, Cash Management, Transaction Banking, or Core Banking.
Strong knowledge of Vietnam payments including domestic transfers, interbank, instant, and bank to bank operations.
ISO 20022 understanding and Finastra GPP experience or exposure.
Payments modernization background including hubs, ISO 20022 adoption, and operational transformation.
Business analysis skills in requirements definition, Fit Gap, process design, issue management, UAT, and migration.
Stakeholder engagement through workshops, interviews, and consensus building.
Team leadership managing junior members, reviewing deliverables, and coordinating workstreams.
Strong deliverable creation using PowerPoint and Excel for executive materials and project documentation.

Responsibilities

Lead workstreams in payments modernization programs.
Analyze and redesign payment processes, operating models, and controls.
Advise stakeholders on ISO 20022 and Finastra GPP.
Translate complex requirements into clear recommendations and decision materials.
Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes.
Contribute to business development through proposals and client research.
Coach junior team members and share project learnings.
