Job summary

National University Polyclinics in Singapore seeks a Patient Service Associate to deliver excellent service at the Specialist Outpatient Clinic. You will register patients, schedule appointments, and assist with billing and financial counselling to help patients understand charges and available schemes.

The role also involves preparing patients for examinations and supporting doctors during teleconsultations.

Qualifications

• 1-year experience in customer-related/front desk service preferred.
• Entry level candidates are welcome to apply.
• Working knowledge on computers.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to work with all levels of staff.

• Contract offered for 1-year / 2-year terms.

• Register patients for visits to Specialist Outpatient Clinic
• Schedule appointments and assist patients to coordinate multiple appointments
• Perform billing processes, including payment collection, manage cash float and encourage patients to sign up for cashless payment
• Provide financial counselling, explain charges and assist patient with various finance schemes available
• Prepare patients for physical examination and take patient’s height and weight
• Support doctors in teleconsultation i.e. equipment setup, coordinate with patients, etc.

Requirements

• Preferably 1-year experience in customer-related / front desk service
