Job summary

CRAWFURD Medical Centre Pte. Ltd., in Singapore, is seeking a dedicated receptionist to manage front counter duties, register patients on arrival, and triage them for timely care.

You will assist doctors during consultations, handle insurance submissions, and ensure accurate data entry and smooth daily settlement processes. Proficiency in Mandarin is required along with strong teamwork in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Mandarin speaking and reading ability to assist Mandarin-speaking patients.
• Able to work in a fast-paced clinic environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with insurance/corporate claims is preferred.
• ECG and phlebotomy skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients at the front counter.
• Triage patients on arrival for clinic flow.
• Assist doctors during consultations and serve as chaperone.
• Perform basic patient assessments such as blood pressure.
• Support minor procedures and manage specimens.
• Prepare and dispense medications as needed.
• Process payments and ensure proper documentation.
• Ensure accurate clinical data entry in the system.
• Prepare submissions for corporate and insurance/TPA claims.
• Maintain clinic facilities and stock of medications.
• Schedule and book appointments for follow-ups and vaccinations.
• Handle daily settlement data entry and filing.

Job description

Job Responsibilities :-

• Perform receptionist duties at front counter
• Register and triage patients on arrival to clinic
• Assist doctors during consultation including serving as chaperone
• Perform basic assessment for patient (e.g. blood pressure, visual acuity)
• Assist with minor procedures (e.g. nebulisers, swab tests)
• Assist in managing laboratory specimens
• Prepare and dispense medications
• Handle all transactions including payments and ensure proper documentation
• Ensure accuracy of clinical data entry into computer system
• Prepare submission for corporate and insurance / TPA claims
• Assist in management of medication and consumables supplies including stock-taking
• Arrange/book appointments for patients for follow-up treatment and vaccination
• Daily e-submission claims for different insurance schemes
• Maintenance of the physical facility of the clinic
• Perform data entry and closure of daily settlement
• Maintain filing system, coordinate appointments and other administrative duties
• Any other duties as may be assigned by Immediate Supervisor and/or the Management

Qualification & Experience:-

• Must be able to work 5.5 days work week, which includes Mondays to Fridays (full days) and Saturdays morning (half day)
• Ability to speak and read Mandarin to effectively communicate with and attend to Mandarin-speaking patients.
• Able to work in fast paced environment
• Team Player and Good communication skills
• Candidates with experience with insurance / corporate claims preferred
• Additional skills such as ECG and phlebotomy will be an advantage
• Those with more experience may be considered for Senior Position
