Job summary

Singapore General Hospital (SGH) seeks a dedicated professional to support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of its Patient Safety Education programmes, strengthening safety culture and organisational learning.

Working with clinical, administrative and patient safety stakeholders, you will translate safety principles into practical learning experiences, design curricula, coordinate learning interventions and monitor impact through KPI tracking and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Nursing, Allied Health, Healthcare Administration, Education, Psychology, Science, Organisational Development or related discipline, with at least 2 years of healthcare experience.
• Postgraduate qualification in healthcare education, patient safety, quality improvement or adult learning is an advantage.
• Clinical background in Nursing, Allied Health or Pharmacy is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare education, patient safety, quality improvement, programme management or workforce capability building is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain patient safety curricula, learning roadmaps and educational resources for healthcare professionals.
• Plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate patient safety education programmes, workshops and learning interventions.
• Support the Patient Safety Faculty Programme including faculty engagement, onboarding and capability building.
• Provide oversight for key patient safety programmes and workshops (RCA, ERM, TeamSPEAK, TeamCHOICE).
• Align initiatives with institutional, national and international priorities (IPSQ, MOH, WHO) where applicable.
• Engage stakeholders to identify learning gaps and translate them into education initiatives.
• Monitor programme effectiveness via evaluation, KPI tracking, data analysis and quality improvement.
• Coordinate programme operations, documentation, meetings, budgets and admin processes.
• Contribute to broader safety culture initiatives including Safety Walkabouts and recognition programmes.
• Support innovative approaches to patient safety learning across SGH.
