Job summary

PARKWAY HOSPITALS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Health Care Assistant to provide basic nursing care under the supervision of the nursing team in a Med-Surg ward and ICU setting in Singapore.

You will assist with patient hygiene, daily living activities, record vitals and intake/output, and report patient status promptly to the RN while maintaining infection control and PDPA compliance.

Qualifications

• Min pass in N Level.
• Health care Assistant Certificate preferred.
• Interpersonal & communication skills.

• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Record baseline and routine blood pressure, temperature, pulse and respiration and report to the Registered Nurse (RN)
• Assist with patient’s personal hygiene and activities of daily living as directed
• Accurate recording of intake and output
• Assist with ambulating of patient, bed to chair transfers and vice versa
• Comply with infection control and health care associated infection practices
• Comply with Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA)
• Answer call bell promptly and provide assistance to patient’s needs
• Provide feedback to RN on patient’s status, requests and needs promptly
• Collect specimens as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Report to work punctually
• Report to work as per roster
• Prefer at least 2 years experience in Med-Surg ward/ ICU.
