Job summary

Explorer Academy Learning Group Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Part-time Social Media Content Creator to develop content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. You will plan a weekly content calendar, source on-site moments, and craft captions that resonate with parents and students.

You’ll spot trends, adapt ideas to fit our brand, and shoot or edit short-form video for Reels and TikTok. Remote work with on-site shoots is expected, 2–3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in content creation (portfolio or brand work).
• Proven understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok from creator perspective.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage a content calendar weekly across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Source and shoot content onsite with real moments and student experiences.

What you’ll do

Content Planning & Creation

• Plan and manage a content calendar weekly across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
• Source and shoot content onsite - capturing real moments, student experiences, and behind‑the‑scenes centre life

Trend Spotting & Adaptation

• Actively monitor trends across Instagram and TikTok
• Identify what's gaining traction and adapt it creatively to fit our brand and audience
• Propose fresh content ideas regularly and bring them to the team for collaborative review

Content Creation & Copywriting

• Write engaging, on‑brand captions and copy for posts across all three platforms
• Craft text hooks that stop the scroll and verbal hooks that hold attention in the first 3 seconds
• Understand the structure behind high‑performing content - what makes someone watch, read, and take action
• Shoot content onsite - capturing student moments, experiments, and centre life
• Edit short‑form video content for Reels and TikTok using basic editing tools

Community Engagement

• Respond to comments and DMs in a warm, professional, and timely manner
• Build genuine connections with our online community - not just broadcasting, but conversing
• Spot opportunities to turn followers into enquiries and enquiries into trial bookings

What You Bring

Must‑Haves

• You have hands‑on experience in content creation - a portfolio, personal account, or past brand work that shows what you can do
• You understand what works on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok - not just as a user, but as a creator
• You write naturally and engagingly - captions that feel human, not corporate
• You're a trend‑spotter - you notice what's gaining momentum and know how to make it relevant to a brand
• You're collaborative - you're comfortable proposing ideas and taking direction in equal measure
• You're reliable and organised - a content calendar is only as good as the person maintaining it

Nice‑to‑Haves

• Experience managing social media for a brand, school, or education‑related account
• Basic video editing skills for Reels and TikTok content
