Job summary

One Step Journey Education Centre is seeking a Part-Time Math & Science Teacher to help deliver small-group sessions in Ang Mo Kio. You will observe, train, and progressively take greater ownership of classes while selecting subjects to teach based on strengths.

There is potential for a larger or full-time role in 2027 for the right candidate, with opportunities to contribute to curriculum and teaching materials.

Qualifications

• Experience in Mathematics or Science preferred.
• Ability to teach at multiple levels.
• Comfortable working with small groups.

Responsibilities

• Teach small-group classes of 3–6 students.
• Explain concepts clearly and adapt to different abilities.
• Identify students' weaknesses and learning gaps.
• Guide students through practice and exam preparation.
• Prepare for lessons and review OSJ teaching materials.
• Monitor student progress and provide updates to parents.
• Communicate with parents confidently and professionally.
