Job summary

By The Roots is seeking a part-time Primary Math tutor to teach small-group classes for Primary 1 to 6 at our Bukit Timah Plaza centre. You will guide students through concept-based lessons, support each learner at their own pace, and encourage reasoning and independent problem-solving.

The ideal candidate is MOE-qualified, passionate about helping children develop deep understanding of Math, with a warm, patient teaching style. Availability on weekday afternoons and/or Saturdays is preferred.

Qualifications

• Teach concept-based lessons rather than rote procedures.
• Support each student at their own pace.

• Help students build confidence, especially if anxious or discouraged.
