Job summary

Link Studies One Hub Private Limited in Singapore seeks an engaging Science tutor to deliver lessons from Primary to IBDP, online or in-person, adapting to each student’s needs.

You will develop structured lesson plans, assess progress, help students prepare for PSLE, O-Level, A-Level, IB, and IGCSE, and collaborate with staff to coordinate resources and timelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Education, or related field.
• At least two years of teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
• Familiarity with MOE syllabus and IB curriculum is advantageous.
• Bilingual English/Chinese is beneficial for parent communication.

Responsibilities

• Teach Science subjects across Primary to IBDP levels
• Deliver curriculum-aligned lessons covering MOE syllabus and IB curricula
• Prepare students for major examinations (PSLE, O-Level, A-Level, IGCSE, IB)
• Develop structured lesson plans tailored to diverse learners
• Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback
• Engage students to foster interest in Science

Job Summary

Deliver engaging Science lessons across Primary to IBDP levels, preparing students for major exams while adapting teaching methods to individual needs in online or in-person formats.

Responsibilities

• Teach Science subjects including General Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at Primary, Secondary, JC, and IBDP levels
• Deliver curriculum-aligned lessons covering MOE syllabus and IB curricula such as MYP and IBDP
• Prepare students effectively for examinations including PSLE, O-Level, A-Level, IGCSE, and IB
• Develop structured lesson plans tailored to diverse student learning needs and academic levels
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to students and parents
• Engage students actively to foster understanding and interest in Science topics
• Adapt teaching delivery for online or in-person classes, including one-to-one, small-group (4-8 students), and medium-group (10-20 students) settings
• Collaborate with administrative staff to coordinate classroom activities and access teaching resources
• Participate in structured training and ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Science, Education, or related field preferred
• At least two years of teaching or tutoring experience preferred; current university students with outstanding A-Level or IB results in Science subjects are also encouraged to apply
• Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with MOE syllabus and/or IB curriculum
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is advantageous for effective communication with parents
