Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd is seeking a Part-Time School Counsellor for a Secondary School in Yishun. The role offers a 10-month contract with hourly pay of SGD 30–40 and a weekly schedule of Tue–Thu, 8:00am–3:00pm, totaling about 18 hours per week.

Applicants should have a Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Youth Work or a related Social Science discipline, at least 3 years of counselling experience with youths aged 12-18, and strong emotional intelligence to support student

Formación

• Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Youth Work or a related Social Science discipline.
• At least 3 years of counselling experience working with youths aged 12-18 in a school, residential home, community centre or similar setting.
• Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to remain calm and empathetic in challenging situations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with youths while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Patient, compassionate, resilient and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Provide counselling support to students aged 12-18, addressing their emotional, social and behavioural needs.
• Support teachers' professional development by sharing strategies to identify and support students with counselling needs.
• Guide student peer supporters in recognising issues such as cyberbullying, stress and relationship difficulties, and referring peers for appropriate support.
• Collaborate with school counsellors and relevant stakeholders to promote student well-being.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Part-Time School Counsellor (Secondary School - Yishun)

Salary: $30-$40/hour (approximately $2,340-$3,120/month)

Contract Duration: 10 months

Contract Period: January 2027 - 29 October 2027

Working Hours: Tuesday-Thursday, 8:00am-3:00pm, inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break

Working Days: Tuesday-Thursday, approximately 18 working hours per week

No Service: Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays and protected time during school holidays.
