MAXHUNT RESOURCE PTE. LTD. is seeking a part-time School Counsellor in Singapore to provide counselling support within a school setting.

The role augments the existing School Counsellor and contributes to student wellbeing, teacher development, and peer-support initiatives. Applicants should have a Diploma or degree in Social Work or related field, at least three years of youth counselling experience, and strong computer literacy.

• At least three years of counselling experience with youths aged 12-18 in a school, residential home or community centre.
• Ability to remain calm and empathetic in stressful situations, build rapport with youths and maintain professional boundaries.
• Patience, compassion, resilience and teamwork skills.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Outlook.

Job description

Job position: Part-time School Counsellor

Salary: SGD 25-40 per hour.

Name of Authority: Chung Cheng High School (Yishun)

Contract Period: 1 January 2027 to 29 October 2027.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
Tuesdays to Thursdays: 8:00am to 3:00pm, inclusive of a one-hour lunch break.
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays and protected time during school holidays.
