Job summary

PAUL Bakery in Singapore is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member to support culinary operations, prepare food items to quality standards, and maintain cleanliness and safety under the guidance of senior chefs. The role requires flexibility for any day or shift and a focus on one task at a time while following FIFO practices.

You will store and handle food safely, complete task lists on time, and ensure sanitation across all workstations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant culinary experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs to complete assigned culinary tasks accurately and efficiently
• Adapt work schedule to meet business needs, including availability for any day or shift
• Focus on completing one task at a time to maintain quality and efficiency
• Complete work lists assigned by Chef de Partie within the designated time frame
• Ensure food items meet quality and sanitary standards by applying FIFO kitchen practice
• Store all food products correctly in designated fridges and containers during shifts to maintain freshness and safety
• Maintain high cleanliness and sanitation standards in all culinary work areas and ensure colleagues clean their stations after each service
• Use kitchen equipment safely and properly at all times and guide colleagues on correct usage
