NTU Singapore, School of Art, Design and Media, invites applications for a Part-time Lecturer to teach AP6403 Games for Society commencing January 2027. The course explores how digital games shape education, health, and social innovation, culminating in a prototype game concept addressing a societal need.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in Game Design or related fields with a track record in creative game development. Industry experience and prior undergraduate teaching are a plus.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates should demonstrate expertise in the social, cultural, and applied dimensions of digital games and game thinking.
• Past teaching experience at the university level is preferred.
• Experience translating research findings into thoughtful, socially informed game concepts.

Responsabilités

• Teach a Postgraduate course AP6403 Games for Society starting January 2027.
• Guide students to develop a prototype game concept addressing identified societal needs.
• Foster critical reflection on the opportunities, limitations, and responsibilities of game design for society.
