Aufgaben

• Prepare and set up laboratory equipment, apparatus, hardware and software for lab classes.
• Clear and clean up the laboratory after each laboratory session.
• Assist in the supervision of laboratory practical sessions.
• Assist in keeping records and regular reports to the Senior Laboratory Engineer or Manager.
• Provide and maintain proper tracking on lab matters such as feedbacks, problem resolution and follow up actions.
• Assist in providing support to students in their projects through procurement planning, technical assistance.
• Provide servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting and minor repair of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in managing software licenses, installations or updating, setup and maintenance of lab computers and software.
• Ensure lab safety at all times and that all users comply with lab rules & regulations.
• Assist in conducting risk assessment for engineering laboratories.
• Any other ad-hoc matters as assigned by Reporting Officer

Main Duties & Responsibilities

1. Laboratory duties

• Prepare and set up of laboratory equipment, apparatus, hardware, software for lab classes.

• Clear & clean up the laboratory after each laboratory session.

• Assist in the supervision of laboratory practical sessions.

2. Laboratory inventory and procurement of laboratory materials and equipment

• Assist in the keeping of record and regular report to the Senior Laboratory Engineer or Manager.

• Provide & maintain proper tracking on lab matters such as feedbacks, problem resolution and follow up actions.

• Assist in providing support to students in their projects through procurement planning, technical assistance.

3. Equipment maintenance (Hardware/Software)

• Provide servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting & minor repair of laboratory equipment.

4. Workplace Safety & Health
