ATLANTIC SOLUTION PTE. LTD. seeks a Calibration Technician to assist engineers in calibrating and testing measuring instruments at our laboratory and at customer sites.

You will perform routine calibration activities under supervision and help with installation, commissioning and servicing of instruments. You will support on-site technical works at customer facilities, travel to sites as required, and ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation.

Formación

• Engineering degree required in related field.
• Basic knowledge of measuring instruments and calibration.
• Good math and analytical skills.
• Able to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Willing to travel to customer locations for on-site work.
• Basic computer skills (Word and Excel).

Responsabilidades

• Assist engineers in calibration and testing of instruments at the laboratory and customer sites.
• Perform routine calibration activities under supervision.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, servicing and troubleshooting of instruments and equipment.
• Support on-site technical works at customer facilities, construction sites, industrial plants and other locations.
• Record calibration results, equipment readings and job information accurately.
• Assist in preparing calibration reports, certificates, service reports and other technical documentation.
• Conduct basic inspection and functional checks of instruments before and after calibration or repair.
• Assist with equipment setup, dismantling, transportation and handling during site jobs.
• Ensure all reference standards, measuring equipment and tools are properly handled and maintained.
• Follow ISO/IEC 17025, quality, safety and work procedures.
• Identify equipment abnormalities and report them to the Engineer or Engineering Manager.

Job Description

1. 1) Assist engineers in carrying out calibration and testing of measuring instruments at the laboratory and customer sites.
2. 2) Perform routine calibration activities for mechanical, temperature, electrical, dimensional and other relevant instruments under supervision.
3. 3) Assist with installation, commissioning, servicing and troubleshooting of instruments and equipment.
4. 4) Support on-site technical works at customer facilities, construction sites, industrial plants and other locations.
5. 5) Record calibration results, equipment readings and job information accurately.
6. 6) Assist in preparing calibration reports, certificates, service reports and other technical documentation.
7. 7) Conduct basic inspection and functional checks of instruments before and after calibration or repair.
8. 8) Assist with equipment setup, dismantling, transportation and handling during site jobs.
9. 9) Ensure all reference standards, measuring equipment and tools are properly handled and maintained.
10. 10) Follow established ISO/IEC 17025, quality, safety and work procedures applicable to assigned activities.
11. 11) Identify equipment abnormalities or technical issues and report them to the Engineer or Engineering Manager.
12. 12) Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure tools and equipment are kept in good working condition.
13. 13) Comply with all company WSH and safety requirements when performing laboratory and site activities.
14. 14) Perform other engineering and technical duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

• - Degree in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical or a related field.
• - Basic knowledge of measuring instruments, calibration or industrial equipment will be an advantage.
• - Good mathematical and analytical skills.
• - Able to read and understand basic technical drawings, specifications and equipment manuals.
• - Willing to perform on-site work and travel to customer locations when required.
• - Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
