Job summary

STEM Genius Coding & Robotics Academy seeks a Junior Coding & Robotics Trainer to deliver engaging lessons, manage classrooms, and guide young learners in coding and robotics activities using structured curriculum materials.

Delivered lessons will cover Scratch and Python basics with AI concepts, + hands-on robotics using LEGO SPIKE, EV3, SPIKE ESSENTIAL and WeDo. You will manage a classroom, support projects, and provide progress updates to parents as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or training children in STEM is preferred.
• Basic coding and robotics knowledge for hands-on activities.
• Ability to engage and manage young learners aged 5–12.
• Willingness to work on weekends, especially Tuesdays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coding and robotics lessons to children 5–12 using structured curriculum and materials.
• Guide students in basic programming concepts on Scratch and Python and AI.
• Facilitate robotics activities using LEGO platforms to enhance hands-on learning.
• Manage classroom behaviour to ensure smooth lesson delivery.
• Support students in completing coding and robotics tasks and projects.
• Communicate progress updates to parents as needed.
• Prepare and reset classroom materials before and after lessons.

Job Summary

STEM Genius Coding & Robotics Academy seeks a Junior Coding & Robotics Trainer to deliver engaging lessons, manage classrooms, and guide young learners in coding and robotics activities using structured curriculum materials.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coding and robotics lessons to students aged 5 to 12 using structured curriculum and teaching materials


• Guide students in understanding and applying basic programming concepts on Scratch and Python and AI


• Facilitate robotics activities using platforms like LEGO SPIKE, EV3, SPIKE ESSENTIAL and WeDo to enhance hands-on learning


• Manage classroom behaviour to ensure smooth and effective lesson delivery


• Support students in completing assigned coding and robotics tasks and projects


• Communicate basic progress updates to parents as needed


• Prepare and reset classroom materials before and after lessons to maintain an organized learning environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of teaching, enrichment, or training experience


• Basic knowledge of coding (e.g., Scratch, Python) or robotics


• Ability to manage a class independently and engage young learners aged 5 to 12


• Willingness to work on weekends (core teaching days). Preferably on Tues


• Good communication and classroom management skills


• Experience in guiding teams in competition such as First Lego League, National Robotics Competition for example
