STEM Genius Coding & Robotics Academy is seeking a Part‑Time Robotics & Coding Trainer to teach coding and robotics to primary school students in Singapore. About the role
STEM Genius Coding & Robotics Academy is looking for a Part‑Time Robotics & Coding Trainer to conduct Coding and Robotics lessons for primary school students. You will teach using platforms such as Scratch, LEGO WeDo, LEGO SPIKE Essential and LEGO SPIKE Prime. Structured lesson plans and teaching materials will be provided.
Key responsibilities
Conduct Scratch programming and Robotics lessons for primary school students
Deliver Robotics lessons using LEGO WeDo, SPIKE Essential and SPIKE Prime
Follow structured lesson plans and teaching guidelines provided by the academy
Adapt lesson delivery according to students' learning pace while maintaining lesson objectives
Engage students and maintain effective classroom management
Guide students through programming, Robotics and problem‑solving activities
Monitor students' progress and provide appropriate guidance
Ensure student safety and proper use of equipment
Prepare and set up teaching materials before class
Ensure Robotics kits and equipment are properly packed and stored after lessons
About you
Must be available every Tuesday, approximately 4:00 PM – 6:15 PM
Punctual, reliable and consistent in attendance
Comfortable working with primary school students
Good communication and classroom management skills
Patient and responsible
Interest in Coding, Robotics, STEM or Education
Willing to learn and follow the academy's curriculum and teaching methods
Able to commit to the role for at least 6 months
Prior teaching experience in Coding, Robotics or STEM would be an advantage, but training can be provided to suitable candidates
Experience with Scratch, LEGO WeDo, SPIKE Essential, SPIKE Prime, Python or other Robotics/Coding platforms would be advantageous
