Job summary

GREENPHYTO PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a motivated Farm Assistant to help run our indoor farming operations.

You’ll work mainly with machines in a clean, controlled environment and contribute to daily tasks from planting to packing. No experience is required – we’ll train you. The role involves physical work, following safety rules, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the growing process to help Singapore reach its food goals.

Qualifications

• GCE 'N'/'O' Levels or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Comfortable with physical work and using equipment.
• Willing to work indoors in a clean, controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean work areas and machines.
• Assist with planting seeds and harvesting crops.
• Prepare plant nutrients.
• Check that machines and equipment are functioning properly.
• Keep the farm tidy and handle waste.

Greenphyto is an agri-tech start-up in Singapore working to make farming smarter and more efficient using automation. We grow leafy vegetables indoors using high-tech systems, helping Singapore reach its goal of producing 30% of its own food by 2030.

What You’ll Do:

As a Farm Assistant, you’ll help run our indoor farm smoothly. This includes keeping the farm clean, supporting the growing process, and helping with daily tasks. You’ll be working mostly with machines in a clean, factory-like environment.

Your Daily Tasks Will Include:

• Cleaning work areas and machines.
• Helping with planting seeds and harvesting crops.
• Preparing plant nutrients.
• Checking that machines and equipment are working properly.
• Keeping the farm tidy and handling waste.
• Packing and preparing orders.
• Receiving and checking supplies; keeping track of inventory.
• Following safety and hygiene rules at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

• GCE 'N'/'O' Levels or similar.
• No experience needed – we’ll train you!
• Comfortable doing physical work and using equipment.
• Willing to work indoors, in a clean and controlled environment.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to follow instructions.
