Job summary

Mycelium Catering Pte Ltd is seeking a Part-Time F&B Service Crew to support daily food service and café operations. You will work with the Operation Lead, F&B Executives and Culinary team, assisting with food preparation, counters, service, cashiering and general duties.

Working hours are Monday to Friday with two options (9:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM). Some Saturdays may be required for events; overtime is paid at $15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Food Safety Level 1 or equivalent certification.
• Experience in F&B, café, canteen, catering or food service is a plus.
• Basic cashiering or POS experience is advantageous.
• Able to work in fast-paced food service environment.
• Punctual, reliable and properly attired according to company requirements.
• Friendly, patient and service-oriented, especially with students.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily food preparation and simple food handling.
• Set up food counters, serving stations and dining areas before meal periods.
• Assist with food and beverage service and ensure counters are ready for daily operations.
• Assist with cashiering and payment collection when required.
• Replenish food, beverages, cutlery and other service items during operating hours.
• Ensure food is served in the correct portions and according to menu and service requirements.
• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of food counters, equipment, workstations and dining areas.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures at all times.
• Support the team during busy lunch periods, school activities and special events.
• Assist with general operational duties as required to ensure smooth daily service.
• Report any food quality, equipment, safety or operational issues promptly to the supervisor.
• Maintain a polite, patient and friendly manner when serving students and other customers.

About Mycelium Catering

Mycelium Catering is the institutional catering arm of FoodInc. A veteran food provider for over 20 years in the food and beverage industry, our vast experience spans across various genres, from fine-dining and casual eateries to catering and consultancy services.

Job Purpose

The Part-Time F&B Service Crew supports the daily food service and café operations, working closely with the Operation Lead, F&B Executives and Culinary team. The role provides hands-on support across food preparation, counter setup, food service, cashiering, replenishment and general operational duties to ensure smooth and efficient daily service.

Working Hours

The position operates Monday to Friday, with two available working-hour options:

• 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Some Saturdays may be required to provide additional support during events. Working hours may be rotated among part-time team members based on operational requirements and the established workflow.

Remuneration

Salary ($1,600 +$50 medical allowance + $50 transport allowance).

In the event we need additional hours, we would pay $15 PH OT

Requirements

• Valid Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate (or equivalent recognized food handler certification).
• Previous experience in F&B, café, canteen, catering or food service operations would be an advantage.
• Basic cashiering or POS experience would be an advantage.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced food service environment.
• Punctual, reliable and properly attired according to company requirements.
• Friendly, patient and service-oriented, particularly when interacting with students.
• Able to work well as part of a team and willing to assist with different operational duties when required.
• Good understanding of basic food hygiene and workplace safety practices.
• Able to follow instructions and established operating procedures.
• Strong commitment to student safety, food hygiene and service standards.
