You will deliver warm hospitality, prepare a range of coffees using various methods, and deepen your knowledge through in-house tastings and trainings. Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional hospitality to customers, colleagues, and all vendors and suppliers.
• Make and serve a variety of beverages using different brewing methods.
• Stay knowledgeable about beverage offerings and techniques through tastings and trainings.
• Taste coffee regularly to uphold quality and refine palate.
• Create a community in cafes by sharing coffee knowledge with guests.
• Support cafe operations including cleaning, washing dishes, sweeping, and organizing stations.
• Maintain proper health and food safety according to guidelines.
• Promote a clean and safe workspace.

Job description

We are looking for someone who is passionate about coffee, warm and welcoming, and dedicated to creating exceptional customer experiences grounded in care and respect. You will support Alchemist's daily operations across all our stores. Join us, grow as part of our family and create a community through coffee with us.

You will

• Deliver exceptional hospitality to our customers, colleagues, and all of our vendors and suppliers
• Make and serve a selection of delicious beverages with a variety of different brewing and preparation methods
• Stay knowledgeable about Alchemist's current beverage offerings and preparation techniques; continuously cultivating your own curiosity and knowledge through in-house tastings, cuppings, and trainings
• Taste our coffee regularly to ensure quality that upholds our standards, and to develop your palate
• Create a community in our cafes by sharing your joy and knowledge of coffee with our guests; inspire your fellow teammates to do the same
• Support the team by taking joy in the tasks that keep the cafe running smoothly and effectively - these tasks include cleaning, clearing, washing dishes, sweeping, dusting, mopping, cleaning and organizing condiment stations, and taking out the trash
• Maintain proper health, and food safety according to the food safety guidelines
• Promote a clean and safe workspace

You are

• Proactive and enthusiastic with an avid interest in learning and making coffee
• Outgoing personality to interact with customers
• Passionate about specialty coffee and creating an inclusive hospitality engagement
• Excited about taking on challenges and possessing a positive attitude
• Eligible to work in Singapore with a valid Singapore / Permanent Resident citizenship
• Possess a valid food hygiene certificate
