Norton Rose Fulbright (Asia) LLP in Singapore seeks a Paralegal to support the Asset Finance (Shipping) practice, handling ship finance transactions and related documents. You will draft, register charges, liaise with clients and registries, and maintain know-how materials while managing deadlines.

The role requires a paralegal background in asset finance or shipping, excellent English, and strong Microsoft Office skills. Mandarin is a plus for client interactions.

Formación

• Prior paralegal or legal executive experience in asset finance, shipping or banking and finance within a law firm.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Mandarin preferred to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office; competent in legal research tools.
• Good academic record.
• Ability to manage a demanding workload with deadlines and stay detail-oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Drafting and preparing finance documents, corporate authorisations, legal opinions and other ancillary financing documents.
• Registering and deregistering charges with the relevant registries.
• Liaising with clients, foreign counsels, flag state registries and other stakeholders.
• Proof-reading, formatting and cross-checking documents for accuracy and consistency.
• Checking and preparing conditions precedent reports and closing checklists.
• Compiling and organising transaction bibles.
• Assisting with the consolidation and updating of know-how materials, precedent databases and legal research.
