Job summary

REERACOEN SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in City, Singapore seeks a Paralegal (Japanese Speaking) to support drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts and other legal documents, and to assist in due diligence and registrations.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Law, at least 3 years of paralegal experience, and proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N1). You will work in a Japanese-speaking environment with strong attention to detail and multi-tasking across matters.

Our client is a boutique law firm specializing in Japanese and Singapore counsel. They are seeking a dedicated Paralegal to provide comprehensive support in legal documentation, research, and client matters.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the drafting, reviewing, and management of contracts and other legal documents.
• Conduct research on laws, precedents, and related legal literature.
• Provide administrative support for commercial registration applications.
• Assist in due diligence processes for M&A transactions.
• Support legal consultations and contribute to internal legal education initiatives.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management or clients to support firm operations.

Requirement & Preferences

• Bachelor's Degree in Law or a related discipline from a recognized institution
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a paralegal or in-house legal professional
• Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) - required to effectively communicate with Japanese-speaking clients.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple legal tasks efficiently
• Comfortable working in a Japanese-speaking environment and collaborating across cultures
