Job summary

Esri Singapore Pte Ltd is offering a paid, full-time R&D internship in Singapore. You will explore emerging technologies at the intersection of GIS, digital twins, urban planning, architecture, and mixed reality, and develop prototypes with mentorship from an international team.

You will own a project from research to a working prototype, with opportunities to learn through training, technical exchange, and team development within a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Final-year undergraduate or postgraduate student in computer science, GIS, architecture, UI/UX design, or a related field.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript or modern web development frameworks.
• Interest in intuitive, user-centred interactive applications.
• Existing work authorization in Singapore for the full internship period.
• Familiarity with ArcGIS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver an R&D project in areas such as 3D Web GIS, digital twins, spatial analysis, web applications, visualization, or UI/UX design.
• Research emerging technologies and evaluate their potential for real-world applications.
• Identify opportunities, propose solutions, and define a project roadmap together with your supervisor.
• Design, build, and iterate on a working prototype while regularly sharing progress and findings.
• Document your work and communicate results through presentations, demonstrations, and a showcase video.
