Job summary

Infinity Global APAC Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Packaging Product Development Manager to lead regional product development from concept through launch, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to meet quality and production standards.

The role requires extensive Asia travel (up to 80%), fluency in English and Chinese, and a background in packaging, sourcing, or manufacturing. You will liaise with EU/US teams and Asian partners to drive supplier development and improve processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product development, sourcing, supplier management, or manufacturing in paper packaging.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development projects from concept through production launch, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Infinity Global’s EU and US teams and Asian manufacturing partners to coordinate development initiatives.
• Communicate technical requirements, design intent, and project timelines clearly to suppliers to align expectations and execution.
• Conduct regular supplier visits, factory assessments, and capability audits to evaluate production processes and quality systems.
• Oversee pilot runs, production start-ups, and first production approvals to confirm manufacturing readiness and consistent product quality.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes to resolve development, sampling, or production issues effectively.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to enhance supplier quality processes and perform ongoing product and manufacturing inspections.
• Provide timely project updates to stakeholders, highlighting development progress, risks, and production readiness.
• Identify and develop new supplier partnerships to support business growth and diversify sourcing strategies.
• Travel extensively across Asia (up to 80%) to support supplier development, troubleshooting, and production activities.

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in product development, sourcing, supplier management, or manufacturing within the paper packaging industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience managing sample development, supplier communication, and production start-up activities.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout Asia as a core job responsibility.
• Fluency in English and Chinese to engage with EU & US teams and Asian manufacturing partners

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in packaging & luxury goods or related industries
• Experience with textile products is highly desirable
• Additional language skills such as Hindi, Vietnamese, or other Southeast Asian languages are advantageous
