Job summary

Chubb Asia Pacific is seeking a Divisional Finance Officer (DFO) to lead financial management, planning, and analysis for the P&C division across APAC. You will partner with divisional leadership to set strategy, develop plans, and drive performance while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires over 10 years of financial management experience in insurance, with strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge, leadership, and the ability to influence stakeholders across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
• Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in financial management roles, preferably within the insurance industry or P&C line of business.
• Strong knowledge of insurance accounting principles, including GAAP, IFRS, and statutory accounting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with divisional leadership to develop and execute financial strategies for the P&C business.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and KPIs.
• Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses to senior management.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and operations to align financial goals with activities.
• Oversee statutory filings and regulatory submissions; work with auditors.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
