Job summary

ASCENDION ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced OutSystems Lead to drive design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade low-code applications on the OutSystems platform.

You will lead end-to-end development, mentor teams, and ensure governance and performance standards. Applicants should have 7+ years in software development with at least 4+ years on OutSystems, plus strong leadership and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with business and technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of software development experience with at least 4+ years of hands-on OutSystems development.
• Proven experience leading OutSystems development teams and enterprise-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of OutSystems 11 architecture and platform capabilities.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of OutSystems applications, including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions using OutSystems best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of OutSystems applications, including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions using OutSystems best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers and project teams.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and governance.
• Manage application performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Solution Design & Delivery

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and functional specifications.
• Design integrations with enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and third-party applications.
• Drive technical discussions with stakeholders and provide solution recommendations.
• Estimate project effort, manage technical risks, and ensure timely project delivery.

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with business users, product owners, architects, and project managers.
• Facilitate requirement-gathering and solution workshops.
• Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.

Quality & Governance

• Implement DevOps, CI/CD, and release management best practices.
• Ensure applications comply with security, compliance, and performance standards.
• Establish coding standards, reusable components, and development frameworks.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of software development experience with at least 4+ years of hands-on OutSystems development.
• Proven experience leading OutSystems development teams and enterprise-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of OutSystems 11 architecture and platform capabilities.
• Experience with Service Studio, Integration Studio, and Lifetime.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
