Job summary

DXC Technology Services Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced OutSystems Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications on the OutSystems low-code platform in Singapore.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality solutions, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to architectural, security, and performance best practices across the full software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of software development experience.
• Certified OutSystems Developer (Associate Reactive, Traditional Web, or ODC).
• Hands-on experience developing and supporting applications using the OutSystems platform.
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes and methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain applications using the OutSystems platform.
• Provide application support, enhancement, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing activities for enterprise systems.
• Collaborate closely with business users, project teams, external vendors, ICT providers, and government agencies to support operational requirements and deliver new initiatives.
• Work with Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Participate in solution design, development, code reviews, system integration, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Research emerging technologies, evaluate industry trends, and develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) to support continuous innovation.
• Review project deliverables, including technical designs, source code, test plans, and test reports, to ensure quality and completeness.
• Ensure project deliverables comply with organizational policies, security requirements, governance standards, and development guidelines.
• Apply OutSystems development best practices, architecture standards, and performance optimization techniques throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support CI/CD practices and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and delivery methodologies.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience leveraging AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or similar technologies to accelerate application development, debugging, workflow automation, and data integration.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for work item management, source control, release management, and deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud-native application development and deployment practices.
• Experience with application integration, APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.

Advantageous Qualifications

Candidates possessing one or more of the following will be highly regarded:

• Cloud certifications from major cloud providers, preferably AWS .
• Experience delivering projects across the full SDLC.
• Knowledge of OutSystems BDD Framework.
• Strong understanding of application security principles, secure coding practices, and software quality standards.
• Experience in application, system, integration, user acceptance, and performance testing.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release management practices.
• Experience working within government, public sector, or highly regulated environments.
